About this Death Cafe

Looking around on the Death Cafe website I noticed there are no Death Cafes currently in Romania. 

Last time I checked, people die in Romania as much as any other part of the world and I truly believe that normalising this type of conversation around death and dying can bring great benefit to all of us as a society.

If you've never been to such an event, the atmosphere is usually very relaxed and surprisingly light hearted. I've never been to one of these where people haven't left feeling uplifted.

About Mircea Lupescu

Having attended a few Death Cafes in London (both in person and online) I felt inspired to organize one in Bucharest. I see the initiative as having great potential for creating healthy conversation around death and dying.

I'm a Romanian and British citizen, I have lived in the UK for just over a decade. I work in Television, I like traveling, love to get involved in volunteer work and I am constantly on the lookout for new and exciting projects.
