About this Death Cafe
Prior to learning about Death Cafes in 2019, I often tended toward deeper conversations when making "small talk".
A lady at the senior center asked me if I ever heard of a Death Cafe and gave me the URL.
When I learned it was an open-ended discussion entirely devoted to the biggest talk topic of all, I was sold! No longer would I have to try to work the topic of death into a casual conversation surreptitiously, but I could proudly declare there would be an intentional, purposeful Death discussion and all who shared my interest and curiosity would be welcomed and heard

Glenn Harper is an independent provider of aging and end of life services by profession and a facilitator of Death Cafes online since 2020 and we now have n three in person meeting locations in the Olympia area: Olympia senior center, Lacey senior center and an evening Death. Cafe at the Green Lady dispensary on Pacific in Olympia.
