About this Death Cafe
This program is an in person program, first come basis. Rather than depressing or morbid, we think you will find talking about death to be liberating and life-affirming experience. Rest assured, that you will not be judged, analyzed, categorized, evaluated, or sold a product. We share your earnest belief that not all discussions relating to mortality need to be outsourced to specialists.
Our upcoming August 2023 Death Cafe in in-person. Due to the size of the facility, we are not asking people to register, but accepting the first 20 walk-ins.

Marianna and Lauren, two very knowledgeable librarians, have been hosting Death Cafe at the New York Public Library for a number of years.
