About this Death Cafe

Rather than depressing or morbid, we think you will find talking about death to be  liberating and life-affirming experience. Rest assured, that you will not be judged, analyzed, categorized, evaluated, or sold a product. We share your earnest belief that not all discussions relating to mortality need to be outsourced to specialists. 

Our upcoming August 2023 Death Cafe in in-person. Due to the size of the facility, we are not asking people to register, but accepting the first 20 walk-ins. 

 

About New York Public Library ( Marianna and Lauren)

Marianna and Lauren, two very knowledgeable librarians, have been hosting Death Cafe at the New York Public Library  for a number of years.  We would like to wellcome all curious mortals from around the world to our Death Cafe at  the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, Please register for attendance with a provided link.
