About this Death Cafe
This is a continuation of the COVID-influenced virtual Death Cafes via ZOOM. Since March of 2020, we've tried to hold monthly Death Cafes to talk about death.
A general concensus at our recent Death Cafes, is that the ZOOM Death Cafes serve a purpose that expands on the traditional Death Cafe "in-person" model.
Our participants honestly professed to like the "expanded" geography of the participants in the ZOOM room as well as the informality of seeing others in the comfort of their own homes.
So, for the moment, while we'll explore a return to the "sitting around the tables while sharing conversation, cake, coffee or tea" model, our plan is to continue the monthly ZOOM Death Cafes as well.

Look for a corps of facilitators who've been facilitating at our previous Death Cafes.
As the facilitator is asked only to inspire the flow of the conversations, we've found the participants, returning and new guests, capable facilitarors, as well.
Familiarity, genuine acceptance, civility, willingness to share and inquisitiveness have served as excellent Death Cafe self-facilitators.
