If you are curious, but reluctant, dont hesitate ! Rather than depressing or morbid, we think you will find that talking about death can be a very positive and life-affirming experience. Rest assured, that you will not be judged, analyzed, categorized, evaluated, or sold a product. We share your earnest belief that not all discussions relating to mortality need to be outsourced to specialists. Please register for DC though New York Public Library's event's page. Marianna and Lauren, two very knowledgeable librarians, have been hosting Death Cafe at Mid-Manhattan Library for a couple of years. We would like to wellcome curious mortals from around the world to our Online Death Cafe at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, a newly renovated flagship branch of New York Public Library.
