About this Death Cafe

Join us for a virtual death cafe.

We will introduce the idea of a Death Café and explore ideas/beliefs around death, open to new/all perspectives.  There is no set topic - the conversation flows based on what attendees wish to discuss.

The intent of this café is not to be oppressing or to overwhelm with grief, but rather to cultivate appreciation of life and the time we have been gifted.  The idea is that becoming more comfortable with death and de-stigmatizing it, we can become less fearful and live fuller, more appreciative lives.

You will not be expected to share during the meeting either; receiving and listening is a perfectly fine.

You are welcome to bring a prayer or poem to share at the café.

This event is free, and the daytime events are open to children as well.  Size is limited so please register early, by emailing me: wildwomaninthesuburbs@gmail.com within 24 hrs prior to the event. I will send you a link for our zoom meeting the day of the event.

If you wish to donate for this offering, please consider donating to The Resiliency Institute (they allow us to use their zoom account; www.theresiliencyinstitute.net/ ) or Death Café (https://deathcafe.com/) for administrative and outreach work.
