Our discussion will be frank and open. Bring your ideas, fears, hesitations and stories to the table.
The Death Cafe is not a support group, rather it is a gathering of people who want to engage in discussion about end-of-life issues and how to approach them.
Our event is free and refreshments will be served. The Claverack Library is happy to accept donations to defray the cost of tea and cake.

The Death Cafe is sponsored by the Clavearck Free Library and will be faciliated by our friendly local grief counselor, Claudia Coenen. Claudia is an expert in thanatology which is the study of death, dying and bereavement and has gone through death doula training. She is a certified grief counselor.
