I have run a few Death Cafes now and almost every time I have had feedback from some people saying they'd find it helpful to have some prompts or questions. I have never done this, as I'm aware of the guidelines, but I can see how it might be helpful for some people who want to talk about death but don't know what they want to talk about specifically. Has anyone had similar feedback? How have you dealt with it? Have you renamed your Death Cafe to something other than Death Cafe and had things like questions/prompts?

I've encountered this feedback when I hosted a few sessions in Malaysia. So I've prepped a cue card that has like a word (eg. clothes, food, etc.), for those who needed a prompt.

Great that you're holding events about death and dying, and yes you're right- if you wish to use prompts/ topics then you should use a name other than Death Cafe.
