Our third Death Cafe of 2024 included 20 guests. There were 17 at each of the previous cafes, clearly there is a need! Some were new and some had come before. Introductions were held in the large circle and then conversations continued in 4 smaller circles for 40 minutes. I received positive feedback about the group led discussions as apposed to a meeting with an agenda.

Being in this later stage of life and facing the fact that it is the nature of the body that I live in to die; I am struck by the wonders of this world that I've always taken for granted and under-appreciated until now. So, being grounded in the reality of death that awaits me and effortlessness of that has really enhanced the quality of the life I live now. Is there more life in store when this one expires? No one knows and that's okay.
