A write up of Drogheda Death Cafe
We had a very heartwarming evening for our first Death cafe in Drogheda. 14 attendees, on top of 2 facilitators. Interesting topics for discussion including legacy and how we would like to be remembered, the importance of being prepared in terms of wishes and planning, options for funerals now that less traditional routes are becoming more mainstream, some interesting resources and books available online on death in general, the traumas that stay with us from our exposure to death from childhood. A huge thanks to the Rugby club for sponsoring the venue.
