my name is Ali ( Alison) from the UK, I am almost 50 and have always been fascinated with death, religion, spirituality, justice and peace, I have had a brush with cancer, been unable to have children so not been part of the cycle of life and giving life and as I reach 50 I am even more aware of my own mortality than ever. 

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I have a fascination with death, I think it is something we should not shy away from, it's good to talk about it. 

What would you like your legacy to be?

that I have made the world a better place even if it's only in a small way
