I live on Whidbey Island. I have participated in a similar to death cafe meeting. Right now I would like to help organize a death cafe in Everett (where my HMO is). I am not terminally ill, but I am sliding into senility and it just seems appropriate while I can still do it.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I would like to help organize a death cafe on Whidbey Island, Wa (where i live) or in Everett, WA (where my HMO is located). I don't want to be the chief organizer as I am sliding into senility, don't have a lot of money, and it's just a bit much for me to be the leader at this point in my life. What would you like your legacy to be?
As I am an atheist (or worse), it's hard for me to get into words such as "legacy." I've been a decent husband, father, and grandfather. I've done more good deeds than bad ones. We all disappear like bubbles in the wind.
