About Tracy Matteson Radack:
I am a mother, grandmother, ("Lovey/GiGi") daughter, wife and friend to many who feels that we have one life here in Earth school. We are all connected. Living with humor, intention, caring for ourselves and others, and making the most of every day is paramount. I want to leave this world with the least amount of regrets possible and lead by example.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I consider myself a woman who falls into the "Deathwalker" archetype. I worked as a nurse hospice nurse for ~ 4.5 years and always felt that there wasn't enough time to adequately listen to and talk about all of the important aspects of dying with both the dying and their families. I have been called to do more to "do death better".
With a comfort in facilitating, I am ready to lend my lack of fear and listen, hold space and allow others to share their most vulnerable and difficult, thoughts, feelings and challenges around issues of death and dying.
I never knew there was such a thing as a Death Café. What a gift this is.
Thoughts for sharing:
"What if death felt like taking off a tight shoe?" - Ram Dass
"If we meet death with intention, curiosity, open-heartdness, and support, death can also be a profound opportunity for living growth and community."
Dying well will be the last great gift that I give to my family.
