About Emily:
My name's Emily. I'm trying to become an end of life doula. I've lost a lot of family members. My aunt at my cousin's funeral is the one who got me into deep diving into everything related to death. A hug with my aunt made me realize the world has to be open about talking about end of life care, death, and the grieving process. Even with growing up on crime shows.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
My aunt and my cousins death made me do a deep dive into everything death. I want to share and let people know it's okay to talk about.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I figure becoming an end of life doula is apart of my legacy but also my cousins my mom my aunts and my mom's grandparents.
