About Sol:

I'm an English teacher from Chile but I want to become a death doula and thanatologist.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I want to become a death doula and thanatologist eventually, but I can't right now because of money and time limitations. I've joined book clubs and workshops from other countries about death and dying, which are topics that have always been interesting to me but it has been difficult to find people in my country with whom to talk about them.

What would you like your legacy to be?

I just want to share my interest in the topic of death and invite people to talk about it in a more natural way.

Thoughts for sharing:

I think death doesn't need to be a morbid or taboo topic.

I like how death opens our hearts and invites us to be more present and authentic.
