About Kerry Johnston:
Hello I am an End of Life Doula having completed training with Preparing the Way earlier this year.
I hope to be able to assist residents in the local aged care homes by facilitating chat sessions called Tea n Talk. To help break the taboos about the subject of death I am planning to run monthly Death Cafes.
One of my other interests is being a Labyrinth Facilitator.
I am a Licenced Lay Minister with the Anglican Diocese of Grafton Australia.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
As mentioned previously I wish to provide a safe place for people to discuss death and dying. I like the concept of Death Cafe where people are encouraged to talk and/or listen and there is no agenda.
What would you like your legacy to be?
That i have shown love, caring and compassion to the humans and non humans in my life.
Thoughts for sharing:
"Death is part of living " I believe that an indiviidual has the right to make choices.
To make a choice you need to know options and consequences.
I believe planning and preparation are important for a satisfyling outcome.
