About Ruth Sugden:
Hello. I'm Ruth.
I used to work as a nurse in palliative care. It brought up lots of questions for my patients (and me) like who are we? why are we here? do we going anywhere when we die? should we prepare?.
Death is often a topic we discuss only when we see it and yet we know we're all going to experience it.
Maybe knowing that helps us live more first?
What brings you to Death Cafe?
My questions. Are there answers? Lets discuss!
What would you like your legacy to be?
That she lived. And mostly enjoyed living.

A lovely meet up with 8 attendeees - of all ages and abilities. We talked, we shared, we explored and - most importantly - we laughed (remembering loved ones and fun send offs).
