About Barb Brejot:
I am an end of life doula, certified through Doulagivers International. Along with helping patients and their caregivers with transitioning, I am a certified E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and certified Sound Therapist.
I incorporate modalities from yoga and sound into my doula offerings. These offerings may include helping with Advanced Directives, legacy planning, M.O.S.T. forms, writiing eulogies, helping to plan in home funerals, offering choices for after death, arranging playlists, and so much more.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
The subject of death has become uncomfortable, avoidable, and down right taboo in our North American culture. I feel that we need to get comfortable with the topic.
Giving other education about their options and making death a natural conversation is all part of the cycle of life.
