About Jasmin McGee:
Hi! My name is Jasmin. I am a certified Death Doula having completed my training through Going with Grace. I am a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance. I am NEDA Proficient.
I am a member of Yoga Alliance. I am a trauma-informed Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga teacher as well as a Yoga Nidra Guide.
I am also a member of Interconnected Private Wellness Practice, which is a collective of teachers, energy workers, and Ayurvedic health practioners. Our focus is to bring holistic wellness to community.
I know that my life's purpose is to be in service to community and that is what brings my life so much joy.
When not in service to my community or teaching, I am a senior structural designer working alongside engineers to service the Oil & Gas Industry.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I believe deeply that conversations about death and dying are imperative to have. And as a trauma-informed teacher and space holder, it would be an honor to curate a safe space for individuals to gather, hold discussions about death and dying, and do so in a positive and uplifting manner while eating delicious treats with tea or coffee.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I would like my legacy to be that I created a trauma-informed, safe space of inclusivity for all where open, honest discussions about death and dying are held. I want people to attend a gathering knowing they will be heard and seen without judgment. I want people to leave a gathering feeling more at ease and peaceful - hopefully even joyful.

Death does not discriminate. Neither do I. I look forward to holding space for and with amazing individuals - sharing in great conversation, coffee, tea, and cake!

My name is Jasmin McGee... my heart is so full, and I am so humbled that my very first Peace with Death Cafe gathering was a success! PJ's Coffee in Spring Branch, TX was amazing and so hospitable. We were all comfortable and had the back corner all to ourselves. We discussed the Community Agreements. We had coffee and King Cake provided by PJ's Coffee. We shared and held space for one another.
