Death Cafe- Easton finally has a permanent home. We are now located in the Art Studio of Bonnie Winfield in the Smartivities Bldg in historic downton Easton. Our first session in our great new space was filled with lots of tea, muffins and great conversation- exploring topics such as: How would we change the way we live if we only had 6 months left.

A record crowd today at Death Cafe- Easton. We talked about several topics including The Death with Dignity legislation, our thoughts on death being a human experience as opposed to a medical experience etc... we all enjoyed the first meeting at our permanent home: The Art Studio of Dr Bonnie Winfield. See you next month!

Our first get together was held last week and it exceeded all expectations. We limited the group to 10 so we could have a conversation as opposed to a "meeting:". The conversation turned to caregiving of our parents, Death with Dignity legislation, signs from loved ones who have passed etc. There are already more than 15 people expressing interest in the next session so we may have to do two sessions to accommodate . It seems that people ARE ready to talk about death- finally!
