About Good Mourning Projects:
A partnership founded in a shared belief in the importance of talking about dying.
Good Mourning Projects aims to give people a space to welcome death in and explore it's meanings and manifestations. Cassandra brings her experience working in both a funeral home and crematorium, and her learnings as a trainee psychotherapist doing a placement in bereavement at a hospice. Rebecca is a death doula, a free diver, and the director of Paço da Glória.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
We want to create a dynamic space to talk about death and dying. We believe that beautiful, creative and life-affirming sentiments come from talking about this topic.
What would you like your legacy to be?
One of love.
Thoughts for sharing:
"We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialties, we are eaten up by nothing." - Bukowski
Let us be reminded of what is precious.
