I'm a GP with a particular interest in frailty and palliative care, and a person who has been bereaved. The combination has fostered an interest in how we prepare for death - our own and that of others - and how we grieve.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

A desire to explore ideas about death and bereavement, and to help as many people as possible understand normal dying - to reduce the fear and help preparation.

What would you like your legacy to be?

The people close to me knowing they were loved, and my patients knowing they were cared about and heard.
