About The Death Dude:
Joe Witherspoon here. I am known as The Death Dude and I am comfortable talking about death, life and spiritual matters from a daily life perspective and I enjoy helping others sort through the same.
I am particularly interested in helping other men with this topic. Dudes have a particular sensitivity about death than we are typically not ready to be open about.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I enjoy helping other men sort through the problems and questions that death present to us. I have studied the death and spiritual process for decades, I have worked in deathcare for 7 years and I aim to help others through a process of discussion and bonding and dudes.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To be known as a pilgrim, explorer, seeker, walker, entrepreneur, lover.
Thoughts for sharing:
from Queen Mab, Percy Bysshe Shelley
How wonderful is Death,
Death, and his brother Sleep!
One, pale as yonder waning moon
With lips of lurid blue;
The other, rosy as the morn
When throned on ocean’s wave
It blushes o’er the world;
Yet both so passing wonderful!
