Had 9 in attendance with a selection of cakes this time. Active conversation and participation by all. The only comment was a wish to spend more time on the Advance Directive and Representative agreements. These are always mentioned but as facilitator I think it takes us away from open conversation.

We had 8 in attendance. The conversation veered to the symbolic meaning of death which was dominated by one participant making it difficult to facilatate. The evaluations reflected this.

Had 9 in attendence with very lively conversation. Did have a bit of a disrupter with Exit International attendee trying to dominate the conversation. I was told I handled it very well.

On Mar 01 we had 6 in attendence. We did have issues getting the elevator door to open on the main floor for a wheelchair participant and had to move the meeting upstairs. There was a wide range of topics discussed and everyone was happy with the ginger tea and brownies.

Practitioners question: Getting comfortable with death.

A question was posed that we were unable to answer satisfactorily for the guest.
What causes uneasiness about death and how to deal with that if you don't believe in the afterlife?
We all shared our beliefs and beyond that I am not sure there is anything to say ...

We had 8 in attendence and a very lively conversation. Most questions were around the new Advance Directive laws in BC. All good comments and delicious carrot cake. A question posed that we were unable to answer satisfactorily. What causes uneasiness about death and how to deal with that if you don't believe in the afterlife?

This was a smaller group with just 10, but lively conversation. Comments all good and cake delicious. We will take a break over the summer and are planning a fall series.

We had 14 attending on June 01 at our Friends for Life location. We served ginger tea and an elegant chocolate anglefood cake. It was decided to stay as one group rather than split. The sharing got very personal at one point and we had to redirect the conversation, but in the end all the comments were very good.

We had 14 in attendence and 3 facilitors. The comments were all excellent, but it was suggested by 4 people that we should have divided the group in two. We will certainly do this next time, although the conversation moved around the room and everyone participated. The venue was perfect and the cake delicious. Everyone said they would recommend others to attend.
