About this Death Cafe
Most of us know intellectually that we (and the people we love) age, get sick, and die. So why aren't we TALKING about it?!
Let’s talk about it.
Join us for a night of exploration of all things Cake AND Death at a private home in the Wallingford neighborhood.
There's no specific topic or agenda. Feel free to bring your curiosity about death, your concerns about grief, your experiences (or total lack there of) of loss. All are welcome!
NB: This is not a bereavement/therapy/support group.
About Annie Huntley
Annie Huntley is a Northwest native and a chaplain-in-training who's passionate about grief and end-of-life education.
With her mom’s diagnosis of ALS in 2014, so began her very unexpected and up-close journey with terminal disease, the medial system, care taking, and the general “WTF?!” of losing those we love.
Endorsed by the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, she’s now in her third year of studies and has served at the The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Seattle VA.
