About this Death Cafe

This Death Cafe is being run as part of a Care and Well Being Program.

In a beautiful bushland setting, in a safe supportive environment, over a cuppa and cake, participants are invited to share their feelings, thoughts and experiences of death and dying.

About April Lewis

Somatic psychotherapist at Sakura Psychotherapy.

Have been a carer to someone who died from cancer.

Present at the death of my grandmother and another close friend.

High school teacher for many years.

Have attended Death Cafes, & Dying to Know you Day events, member of Life Circle and The Groundswell Project

Have considered becoming a mentor to a palliative care recipient so that they can die in their own home.

have supported many who are dying, who have died, or who have lost loved ones.

Lots of life experience.
