About this Death Cafe
Death Cafe is a growing international movement of people who come together in a relaxed and safe space to discuss death. The goal is to increase awareness of death with a view of helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
People who attend Death Cafe are not obssesed with dying, they just want to meet up and talk about something, that, let's face it, will happen to us all. The non profit group aims to educate and help others become more familiar with end of life. The objective is to increase awareness of death and death conversations.

I am a retired nurse with an interest in end of life care. I trained a Death Doula at Douglas College, and host Death Cafes and Death over Dinners in the Sea to Sky corridor.
