About this Death Cafe
Its about offering a relaxed and open space for people to talk about their thoughts, fears or hopes about death and dying; a space where talking about bereavement or grief is a normal topic of conversation. By engaging with thoughts about death we can give ourselves the opportunity to live our life more fully.
We sit in small groups (which we stay in all evening) where we can share our thoughts, ideas or musings about a subject that we don’t often get the chance to talk about freely in our daily lives. It really is an uplifting experience and not a somber affair at all, you need to try it and see for yourself!
l host the evening and ensure that everything runs smoothly, and also drink plenty of tea and even the odd slice of delicious cake. Hope to see you at the next Death Cafe soon.

I currently work as a social worker with adults and have recently completed my Funeral Celebrancy course.
I have an interest in all things death and as such am also part way through Death Doula Training.
I have attended a number of Death Cafes prior to running my own and really enjoy meeting new people and talking about Death.
