This is an informal event in small groups: an opportunity to talk about your hopes and fears concerning death and dying, around a table, with tea and cake.
No set programme, no expectations except respect, honesty and compassion.
About Clare and Emily
Clare and Emily have set up this quarterly Death Cafe because they both believe there is a need for a safe space to talk about death.
Maybe we need to work out our thoughts and feelings, maybe we fear alarming our loved ones - it's not an easy subject to discuss.
The death cafe is a place to explore our thoughts with others who are prepared to listen and contribute.
