I am hosting this Death Cafe per the request of the Carmel Valley Library and because I believe the Death Cafe is the one place people feel comfortable talking about death, dying and living.
I see the Death Cafe as a way to begin the conversation about what people would like their dying to look like, and hopefully, continue the conversation with others.
