About this Death Cafe

Our Death Cafe is held once per month and we have tea/coffee and cake!  (small donations to cover this are greatfully received but not essential).  

We don't have a set agenda as we prefer participants to discuss whatever it is that they are concerned about. 

Haslingden Community Link very kindly offer us the space to meet each month for free, for which we are very grateful. 

About Rachel Yates Hoyle and Dawn Vear

Rachel set up the Haslingden Death Cafe in July 2018 after setting up anumber of others around the country as part of her work with a national charity for Dementia suffers. She now runs Lancashire Dementia Training and Consultancy.

Dawn is a End of Life Doulah in training and has been helping to run the Death Cafe in Haslingden since it started.
