Death Cafés are informal gatherings designed to increase awareness of death, and help people make the most of their (finite) lives. They are friendly, non-judgemental gatherings where people, often strangers, will get together to discuss the end of life. These are informal discussion groups rather than grief support or counselling sessions.  

Come and talk freely and openly about death and dying in an adult, group directed discussion with no agenda, objective or theme.  

The café will be run in collaboration with Gentle Dusk (gentledusk.org.uk), a socially minded organisation focusing on preparation and support for the end of life. 

We’ll provide ample tea and coffee, and cakes will be available for purchase.
