About this Death Cafe

Death seems to me a part of life, and yet it is such a taboo and often difficult to talk about. I have been interested in starting a Death Cafe for a while, and been supported in this journey by so many lovely people. I think for me, seeing how difficult it can be for someone in death or following the death of a loved one, makes it so much clearer how important it is for us to talk about how we want to die, and how we want to live life now.

Tusk Baltic have kindly offered to host our Death Cafe supported by Hannah Todd the Area Manager for Ultimate Cafe, The Interesting Eating Company, UK Coffee Shop and Tusk.

Tickets are available from the link under the map to the right.

This event is free and Tusk's bar and kitchen will be open for refreshments.

About Jamie Fearn

With experience in the past of volunteering as a Samaritan, and current experience volunteering in a bereavement service, it feels important to me to be part of opening up the conversation about death.

In addition to this I have a number of years’ experience working in education and facilitating training, and now work in private practice as a counsellor. I am an accredited Non-Religious Pastoral Care volunteer and recently started volunteering at Mersey Care.
