About this Death Cafe
Death is a club of which we will all become free members at some stage. Making friends with the subject of death through honest conversations can be healing, connecting and therapeutic as well as funny, sad and everything in between. I find Death Cafes and end of life conversations hone and distil our perception of life and how we live, value and approach it.
About Melissa Halliday
Melissa has been hosting Death Cafes for over three years and is a funeral celebrant , singer and yoga teacher who is committed to spreading death literacy in Australia and believes in inclusivity, honest discussion and the power of taking the topic of death from the taboo to the normal and necessary conversation we all need to have with ourselves, friends and family.
