Death Cafes are wonderful places to exchange information about death. This is not a support, or grief group, but it is an opportunity to share experiences, dreams, thoughts, fears, and hopes regarding death.
We have hosted Stanford Students & Staff at our Palo Alto Death Cafes and are grateful to be able to offer this on campus now.
About Susan A Barber
Susan has hosted 25+ Death Cafes since 2013, and as the Community Education Manager at Mission Hospice & Home Care has been offering them in San Mateo County/Santa Clara County community since 2015.
Susan has 30+ years of end of life care experience, and spent 20 years training hospice volunteers in San Mateo County.
