About this Death Cafe
It is really simple really, we just want to open up the conversation about death. Some people shy away from that, some embrace it and some are just curious. Come and find out more, meet interesting people and have lovely homemade cake (hopefully if our baking goes well)! The Village Centre has been great in supporting our venture and hopefullly we contribute to our community in a small way.
About Katrina Taee and Jane Flynn
Katrina is a counsellor specialising in bereavement care and care of the dying. She runs a private practice locally. She has a nursing background. Jane is an energy worker, acupuncturist and healer, as well as running a busness. We are both trained as Soul Midwives who work to help people have a tranquil and dignified death. We are friends!
