About this Death Cafe
Why is it that the subject of death often brings discomfort or embarrassment? I don't believe it has to. Our modern culture needs a place where we can begin to soften our attitudes towards this outcome that all of us share. Death Cafe is a marvelous way for folks to gather and begin the conversation.
About Elizabeth Conant
Elizabeth Conant is a professional musician, teacher and director of a community arts center. She is also the mother of a teenage boy who loves classical music, making model airplanes and speaking German. Elizabeth and her son live in the country and raise chickens and ducks.
