About this Death Cafe
It's time we take Death out of the closet! Have you thought about it? Or is the idea of it too "scary" or "taboo"? Here's the thing we keep avoiding, none of us are getting out of here alive, so let's get comfortable with being uncomfortable together. It's part of our life journey!
Feel free to check us out and stay as long as you want, there is no "time" committment, no agenda or selling of anything!
Please know that this will not be a grief support or counseling session, simply a safe place to talk and be open about topics surrounding Death!
Join me, pastries will be provided and we will be inside a beautiful coffee shop with drinks available for purchase.
P.S. - Talking about it, will not make it come any quicker!
About Sandra Vizcarra
A creative and curious free spirit looking to demystify the topic of Death! Having been laid off and unable to get back into the rat race of working 9-5+ I began volunteering at Hospice in 2017 and was amazed how so many are too scared to even talk about the idea that they will one day pass away. I am NPEC Certified (National Professional End of Life Certification) and have also trained to be an End of Life Doula with Momdoulary, LLC. I continue expand my knowledge with other teachers and am making it my priority to bring awareness to communities and be part of an ever-growing movement focused on removing the stigma in having these critical end of life conversations.
