About this Death Cafe

How the event will be run depends on numbers. if the group is large we will split into smaller groups. We might have some questions to help people get started, should they need them, but there will be no agenda as such. We will finish on time. If participants wish, we will move round and change groups at least once during the session, so long as it feels right to do so.

About Nicola Dunkley, Ian Kavanagh

Nicola and Ian have helped run three Death Cafes In Aberystwyth. They both work as counsellors, amongst other things, and both volunteer as supporters and supervisors for a bereavement charity. Nicola is also a funeral celebrant. Ian has facilitated many different groups. They are keen to better understand death and all its implications for themselves, as well as facilitate opportunities for others to do likewise. Talking about this together can be helpful for everyone.
