About Eric Van Lente and Bernie Folan

Eric enjoys creating spaces in which people can explore their thoughts, feelings & experiences in relation to challenging and emotional topics such as death. Eric is working on a PhD on the experience of oneness/non-dual awareness ('being at one with everything'.).

Bernie Folan works in scholarly communication. She has attended many death cafés over the years, as both facilitator and attendee. She has experienced the life-enrichment and transformative power that sharing a safe space to talk about death can bring. Believing passionately that open minds and hearts grow compassion and peace, she is keen to help enable more Death Cafés to happen in Galway.
