About this Death Cafe
Come and talk about a subject we really shouldn’t be quiet about. Join us for a couple of hours of lively conversation.
There will be a warm welcome, there are few spaces in life to talk about death, our café will provide a non-judgemental space to discuss how our experiences of death dying bereavement and loss have shaped us, and hear how others think and feel about this subject that affects us all.
A Death Cafe is a small group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Compassionate Communities Derbyshire (High Peak) aims to encourage people and communities to talk about death, dying, bereavement and loss, to enable people to share their preferences and wishes about the future and to support each other in practical and emotional ways.
