About this Death Cafe

In my experience, people rarely talk about death and dying and then only in terms they may adopt from their religion.  Death Cafe gives people a chance to discuss their own beliefs concerning death and dying, to ask questions, and to hear others' perspectives on this most personal and important topic.

About Unitarian Universalist Church of Evansville

Professor emeritus Bill Hemminger recently retired from University of Evansville, where he worked in the English Department (serving as Chair) and in the Department of Foreign Languages.  An Africanist by training, he has lived and worked in a number of African countries.  In addition he is an avid gardener, composer, poet and musician.
