About this Death Cafe
We are now in our fifth season of hosting Death Cafes on Salt Spring Island. Thank you to ArtSpring for offering the space and refreshments, and to our wonderful Salt Spring Hospice facilitators. Also thank you to Made in BC-Dance on Tour as sponsor for this community event.
Death affects us all - fear of death and not talking about it can be immobilizing.
We need to talk about it to live our lives fully in the moment and to move forward.
All are welcome who are interested in life and death.

Anna Haltrecht is a movement educator and community engagement facilitator.
Salt Spring Hospice, a registered non-profit charitable society operating on the island since 1984, is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing comfort, care and support to people affected by life threatening illness.
