About this Death Cafe

We are running a Death cafe in order to explore death and dying and to give people the opportunity to explore these themes in an informal way, through relaxed conversation. It is hoped that, by discussing death, we may discover what it is to live more fully. 

Please note that, despite this being run by a group of Christians, this event is open to all. 

This event is being hosted by a local caf, free of charge. We would appreciate if you supported them by buying refreshments. 

About St Mary's Church, Walthamstow

The Walthamstow Death Cafe is being run by a group from St Mary's Church in Walthamstow.

We are a mixture of different people, from a wide range of backgrounds including, teachers, artists, funeral directors, managers and fashion designers. Therefore, we are open to frank and honest discussion around all aspects of death.
