About this Death Cafe

Death Cafe will take place as part of the City of Rights festival in Kaliningrad www.gorodprav.ru.

During our lives, we accumulate experience of encounters with death and reflections on it (or attempts to turn away from it) - when our relatives and friends grow old, get sick and die, when we ourselves find ourselves in situations that threaten our lives, when we think about whether we really live the life we want. Usually, people have no one to share their thoughts and experiences on this topic with - not everyone will go to a psychologist, and in everyday life you will not often meet an interlocutor who is ready to support a conversation about death, in society this topic is taboo.

And yet experience shows that attempts to talk about death inevitably lead to a conversation about the most important things in our lives: love and trust, children and parents, values and principles, hopes and aspirations. Conversations about death sharpen the taste of life - this is known to everyone who has already attended Death Café meetings.

We gather at Death Cafe to share our experiences, stories, and feelings about death, to hear from others and to feel the fullness of life.

The number of participants is no more than 20. Registration is required at the link:  http://gorodprav.ru/kgdeathcafe Registration will close when the maximum number of participants is reached.
