This Death Cafe is one of four being held October 30 to November 2 around Albuquerque as part of the Before I Die New Mexico Festival. All of these Death Cafes are being held in the Reception Centers of various funeral home locations of French Funerals & Cremations, a festival sponsor.

Gail Rubin, CT, is a pioneering death educator and one of the first people to hold a Death Cafe in the United States. She is also the coordinator of the second annual Before I Die New Mexico Festival, a Certified Thanatologist, an author and speaker, and a Certified Funeral Celebrant.
