About this Death Cafe

Laurel Hill Cemetery’s first Death Café is a unique opportunity for members of the public to meet and discuss death over dessert and drinks. This group-led discussion has no specific agenda and serves as a welcoming platform for individuals to talk about all things related to death and dying. Taking place in Laurel Hill’s historic Gatehouse, the evening will be facilitated by Patricia Quigley, Funeral Director at West Laurel Hill Cemetery and Funeral Home, and Emma Stern, Director of Programs for the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery. To learn more about Death Cafes, visit https://deathcafe.com/.

The discussion will take place on Thursday, November 15 at 6:00pm, at Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Gatehouse entrance at 3822 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132. Free parking is located in the lot across the street from the Gatehouse. A voluntary donation would be appreciated and reservations are required, as space is limited. Donations can be made at the door or online at www.thelaurelhillcemetery.org.
