About this Death Cafe
Phoenix did not have a Death Cafe so I decided to organize a meeting. I believe having a conversation about death is one of the most important and much needed conversation in a lifetime.
About Alicia Coleman & Patricia Ballentine
I am the owner of Mourning Dove Home Funerals, additionally I volunteer for Hospice of the Valley 11th Hour as well as the Maricopa County Medical Examiners Office. This is my 2nd Death Cafe in Phoenix that I have hosted.
Paticia Ballentine is a local Artist, Priestess, Poet, Minister, and Death Midwife. Her goal is to help families cope with death through recognizing it as a natural and important part of life by being present and supportive at the end of life.
