About this Death Cafe
Thank you Mother Nature for the seasons! As we move into Fall we are forced to prepare for the death of the year, Winter. And man does it come too fast! It always does. Thankfully, we are given this sign to prepare and what better way to do that than to come to the next Death Cafe? Grab a warm coffee and a sweet treat with us as we cozy together in the back room of Longbranch Cafe & Bakery, Sunday, October 14th from 4-6p.m.
What is a Death Cafe? It's a place to talk about the inevitable without feeling like a weirdo. We come together to talk about death because many of us have questions, curiosities, or stories to share and it just never feels right to do it in public (which is a shame). We have free coffee, water, and sweet treats and you are welcome to buy dinner from the Longbranch while we talk too. Food usually makes us more comfortable, and death is not always the most comfortable conversation. We don't have a agenda and we aren't trying to sell you anything. The conversation is run by you. So, come with things you want to talk about or come with ears wide open, ready to listen and learn. This is a free event.
You're going to die. Why not talk to the other people who are going to die?
